  1. Check out the comments on the BBC web site... poor old Ajzbell just doesn't get it...

    If Santa was travelling at 99.999999% the speed of light and he delivers the presents over a 24 hour period, then for the children 19 years will have passed (I think...). So I'm a bit confused as to why you say he doesn't need to break the laws of physics, as he would need to travel extremely quickly, whilst not letting the childrens time pass too quickly (relative to his time). That requires a rewriting of the current laws of physics, surely? Unless you are saying is what we all know and that is that it is impossible...

    Maybe when we understand a singularity there will be answer to this mystery as well. Either that, or he gets your list when you're a child, but by the time he would get to you you are grown up and so he just doesn't bother...
